This handmade ceramic artifcact is a product of St. Andrew's Abbey, a Benedictine monastery , in Southern California.
Size: 10" (25.4cm)
(Ignacio) [1491-1556] founded the Society of Jesus. Raised as a soldier, he was badly wounded and while recuperating had a conversion of life and wrote his famous Spiritual Exercises. His order was placed at the disposal of the Pope and was known for works of charity, education and missionary work. Ignatius is the patron of spiritual exercises, retreats and soldiers. His feast is July 31.
